Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: June 9, 2026
Draft - this document is a working placeholder that describes how Kensa operates. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and does not constitute legal advice.
These terms govern your use of the Kensa desktop application and this website. By downloading, installing, or using Kensa you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
License to use
Subject to these terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Kensa for your own software-testing work, including commercial use within your organization. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the software, and you may not reverse-engineer it except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.
Beta software, provided as-is
Kensa is actively developed and may be offered as beta or pre-release software. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You are responsible for keeping your own backups - because your data lives in your git repository, version control is your safety net.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of your use of or inability to use the software.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Kensa to:
- break any applicable law or infringe anyone's rights;
- attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorized access to any system; or
- misrepresent the software as your own or remove its attribution.
Your own AI agent
Kensa can drive a command-line AI agent that you supply and authenticate yourself. Your use of any such third-party agent is governed by that provider's terms, and you are responsible for the costs, credentials, and output associated with it. The developer is not responsible for the behavior or output of third-party AI agents.
Intellectual property
Kensa, its name, logo, and the software itself remain the property of their owner. These terms grant you a license to use the software, not any ownership of it. The test content you create with Kensa is, and remains, entirely yours.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the product evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, which will carry a new last-updated date.
